Beyond the Beats: Examining Hip Hop

I love hip hop because of the beat and its view into inner cities and a community that is marginalized in our society (as Jay-Z said, it is the CNN of the inner city).

Class Changes

Parents/Guardians,

I am truly sorry if your student was transferred out of my class.  Due to class sizes in Civics and Economics the school administration hired a new part-time teacher to help alleviate the overcrowding in our classes.  However, the timing of the transfer is difficult for all of us.  I will miss all my students and regret they have to move.  Again, I agree with and understand the school administration’s position, but I know it is difficult to make a change a quarter through the year.
